The tournament has entered the final stretch of the regular phase — this Friday will see the start of the final date with the match between Lanús and Atlético Tucumán at 20:00 at 'La Fortaleza' — although several qualifiers for the Playoffs are yet to be confirmed. In Zone B: Rosario Central, Deportivo Riestra, Lanús, and Vélez have already secured their place in the direct elimination rounds. However, in Zone A the table is tighter, as for the moment only Boca and Unión have confirmed their ticket to the next round. The decisive match in Santiago del Estero will feature both teams in a venue that can hold 29,000 spectators, while the clash in San Nicolás can accommodate 25,000 people. The Trofeo de Campeones was first held in 2021, with River as the first champion, who also repeated in 2023, followed by Racing in 2022 and Estudiantes de La Plata after a 3-0 win over Vélez in the last edition of the championship.
